I am the Operations Coordinator/Project Coordinator at the Houston Pipeline Services division working directly under the Operations Manager. My title encompasses many roles: shipping/receiving, fleet and equipment management and tracking, inventory control, personnel tracking, purchasing, logistics, DOT compliance, as well as working closely with Project Managers for each project duration . Additionally, I help maintain our pipeline equipment which includes launchers/receivers, valves… Show more I am the Operations Coordinator/Project Coordinator at the Houston Pipeline Services division working directly under the Operations Manager. My title encompasses many roles: shipping/receiving, fleet and equipment management and tracking, inventory control, personnel tracking, purchasing, logistics, DOT compliance, as well as working closely with Project Managers for each project duration . Additionally, I help maintain our pipeline equipment which includes launchers/receivers, valves, spools, and flanges; maintain records for our fleet vehicles and trailers; issue purchase orders; assist with the document control of items being built (including MTR's, diagrams, x-ray films, etc.). With the completion of our Test Loop, I also help with demonstrations for classes held in our training facility.I also work in the field as needed. I have completed several projects tracking pigs in an online pipeline and worked closely with the client with the scheduling of other pig tracking projects in Oklahoma and north Texas. I am familiar and have worked with Inline Tracking equipment.In addition to the operations duties, I work with our driving team to secure fuel and trip permits, Oversized load permits, and to ensure compliance within each states DOT rules and regulations. I help in making sure drivers have accommodations in addition to field personnel for the duration of the projects. For office administration, I assist with the Rental department in getting equipment ready for transport, all delivery paperwork, as well as the return of equipment.
