This was a really rewarding & fun time of my career and I enjoyed the benefit of joining the holding company at it's inception and growing with it through it's developmental and growth years. Here are a few highlights of my experience1. Developed and implemented the risk management policies and procedures, liaison with insurance providers, and for legal matters2. Oversaw the H/R and risk management of all operational groups (development, construction, property management, hospitality, restaurants, golf courses, commercial offices, financial services - banking & insurance), 3. As a member of the executive team, became involved in strategic planning, including financial analysis, budgeting, due diligence review and compliance. 4. We established direct relationships in London & in the Bermuda Captive market that were essential for the placement of our property and casualty insurance program5. I managed our Class C captive that we domiciled in Bermuda. As risk manager I was involved in the placement of the surety program for our construction company, coordinating with underwriters as the contractor's representative, and this opened the door to my current career opportunity.
