HR Business Partner, Surgery DivisionKey member of the surgery divisional management team providing a human resources focus to division’s (800 staff) strategic and operational plans and supporting corporate initiatives• Lead on all employee relations matters within the division including mediation, disciplinary, sickness absence, capability and grievance matters for non-medical and medical (MHPS) cases from informal to employment tribunal / settlement agreement stages. Dependent on complexity/sensitivity of cases undertake investigations including interviewing witnesses; writing investigation reports/management cases; advising and/or participating in conduct panels; writing outcome letters or supervise HR adviser team• Partnering managers to facilitate significant organisational change in line with the strategic aims of the organisation, eg divisional restructuring, introduction of 6/7 day working• Influencing business decisions ensuring best HR practice• Developing people management capability within the division and embedding best HR practice• Development of people management interventions (eg recruitment, performance, engagement) using detailed analysis of HR KPIs and staff surveys• Development of creative solutions to workforce challenges, eg introduction of winter bonus scheme• HR lead for service transfer/TUPE matters as both transferor and transferee with private and public sector organisations• Development of tailored behavioural and communication frameworks to meet local circumstances and develop team culture in line with organisational values
