I am registered as a provisional psychologist as I complete a Master of Clinical Psychology at the Sunshine Coast University and work in The Way Back support service. The Way Back is an initiative by Beyond Blue to provide non-clinical one-on-one psychosocial support to people who had a recent suicide attempt. This face-to-face role builds on experience working in mental health intake with the Primary Health Network (PHN), developing triage and assessment skills within a recovery-oriented, evidence-based, stepped-care approach, Additionally, I have over 13 years of experience in communication, learning and development roles to support, lead and strengthen individuals and teams to become highly engaged and productive. My career history reflects the valuable transferable skills I have gained working across diverse multidisciplinary teams in Australia and internationally within corporate and not-for-profit health sectors. Through this experience, I have developed a keen understanding of my learning and communication style, which helps me to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands effectively.
