-Organized several community events involving state and federal elected officials.-Responsible for tracking and researching new state legislation relating to healthcare and informing senior staff of its effects and compliance issues.-Created and successfully implemented community outreach plan to increase Lucile Packard Children Hospital's visibility within the Palo Alto community. The outreach plan included taking on leadership roles in various Chamber of Commerce's, non-profits, and trade organizations.-Successfully created a strategic plan and lobbied the local City Council in saving a non-profit organization from budget cuts.-Raised over $500,000 for multiple non-profits by creating a net work with businesses, such as high tech companies, banks and other industries throughout Silicon Valley.-Made key contributions in the development of the Family Resources Foundation annual operating budget of $100,000 and was instrumental in the developing current plan to raise $20,000 by fiscal year-end.-Recruit and motivate hospital employees to volunteer their time to attend Lucile Packard sponsored events, such as Art and Wine Festival, health fairs, and luncheons.

To increase the community's awareness of InnVision's programs in the Mid Peninsula area.

-Coordinated 7 City of San Jose departments and 45 volunteers, within a 4-day period, to support the production of the nationally televised memorial for Pat Tillman.-Provided leadership in implementing 15 capital improvement projects, which included collaborating with the community and architects on design, as well as, planning for the grand openings. -Oversaw the allocation of over $300,000 in city funds directed towards the advancement of 12 Homework Center within the city.-Organized the annual "Elected Officials Walk Against Domestic Violence", which included the recruitment of elected from each of the 15 cities within Santa Clara County.-Launched the City of San Jose's first domestic violence public awareness campaign through use of television public service announcements, bus shelters posters, VTA bus banners, and over 280 street banners displayed throughout the city.Interviewed and advised on hiring decisions for three staff members, conducted annual staff evaluations, and lead weekly staff meetings.

The P.E.A.R.L.S (Parent Education And Resource Link Services) Program was in the Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services Department in the City of San Jose. -Developed and maintained relationships with non-profits, community based organizations and government based programs in order to connect parents to resources and services. -Worked with three school districts and the District Attorney on developing truancy abatement policy for k-12, participated in public hearing with parents and student on truancy abatement, gave public presentations at community meetings and attended resource fairs.-Created and maintained a data base of non-profits and community based organizations throughout Santa Clara County.

Worked with monolingual Spanish speaking clients by monitoring their progress living at home or in group homes. -Linked clients to services such as housing and employment.-Worked with the client and their families on educating them about the illness, medications and side effects of the medication.-Created treatment plans with social workers, psychiatrist and client on attainable goals that could be reached in 6 month or year.-Advocated for clients in legal hearings regarding family court and conservatorship issues.-Licensed and trained to administer 51/50 holds.
