I work across design, education, creative practice, research and fashion.  My PhD, 'The Living Wardrobe', synthesised these areas of expertise into a transformative sustainable fashion practice, that challenges the inherent disposability of fashion clothing.  By producing clothing with the capacity to be 're-fashioned' by future wearers, I advocate for sustainable fashion though design for extended use and re-circulation.  To me, 'slow fashion' is fashion that lasts, adapts and moves through many wardrobes until it cannot be worn anymore.Designing slow fashion precipitates a rethink of the business and practice of fashion.  With 15 years experience in university education, I am adept at unpacking complex ideas, engaging both novice and experienced audiences and supporting diverse adult learners to conceive and deliver innovative projects.  My pedagogical approach to inspiring and motivating others is underpinned by 'flow theory'.  I employ experiential, learner-centred methods to balance challenge with reward, encouraging deep learning.My leadership practice is founded on the similar principles.  I have extensive experience leading small - medium teams, including hiring and line management.  My leadership style is supportive and adaptive, seeking to achieve best outcomes by fostering a collaborative team culture inclusive of diverse perspectives and levels of experience.I hold a  PhD from RMIT University, Melbourne and a BA (Hons) (Art History and Curatorship) from ANU, Canberra, and a BA (Fashion Design) from RMIT University.https://www.thelivingwardrobe.com
