In my role as WHS Co-ordinator I worked closely with the CEO and management team to ensure safety protocols were implemented and adhered to across the site. I managed the environmental testing of the storm ponds and slurry ponds and was in charge of all on site audits, I left Timberlink after being offered the role of HR Manager at Hillwood Berries

Whilst working with Mendelssohn Construction I have implemented an integrated management system and been in charge of the recertification for Environmental, Quality and OHS standards including the recertification to the 2015 editions and transition from AS4801:2014 to ISO45001:2018. In addition to recertification of the Australian Standards I was also in charge of the NATA certification for the laboratory within the complex. Both recertification’s were challenging and required a major overhaul of the management systems in place.

With over 12 years’ experience in the mining, civil and construction business.I have dedicated the past 3 years to revising and rewriting all Safety and HR Procedures for my current company as well as putting these to work in the field with the Team. As a result of the dedication to our practices we have successfully gained 6 years and re certification from the Federal Safety Commissioner, recertification in ISO 14001, ISO 9001 & AS NZS 4801 and won the Safety at Roadworks 2015 Award as a direct recognition of our results following State Growth safety audits of our project sites and the teams commitment to safety.
