A huge step for his parents to undertake this form of education. Oxfordshire county council were very impressed and even requested that the child’s mother and myself write a book explaining how to educate at home successfully. Social skills were a major part of our day, learning to cook, iron, catch a bus, forage locally, grow our own fruit and veg, help neighbours with their allotments. We regularly had sales of our own products, jam, cakes etc, eventually creating a cook book. Community life was a major part of his education. Show less
