I currently support the transition of Young People with SEND into our educational Charity. By networking with other teams across West London and the surrounding boroughs such as, SEN teams, Looked After Children Teams, local youth centres, NEET teams and local schools, I promote the charity and support young people and their families, including writing and appealing EHCPs and ILPs. While at Green Corridor I support young people with their well being, social and emotional needs, supporting them to contact external teams such as housing and guide them to form their own independence skills. These 'Independence skills' includes promoting employability, running skills sessions and working with external companies to create supported work placements and employment prospects for all. Additionally, I manage an Admin and Marketing officer, working with her to widen the Green Corridor presence in the community. I manage the day to day running of the team of tutors, including timetabling, managing external volunteer days and facilitating weekly team meetings with the team.

My current position is two fold: I work with young people, with additional needs, to support them through out the transition onto, duration and transition out of their course with us. This also includes helping and supporting young people including, writing and supporting with EHC plans, emotional and well being support and transition into employment. I also help to support the team in general administration and successful running of the courses and operational needs. This includes management of the social media and all promotion, centre needs and helping to maintain the charities high standards.
