I spent 2012 working for LOCOG in the creative studio, helping to pull together the look and feel of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games which was an amazing experience. I managed the artwork and design teams who were handling the way finding and signage element of the project, producing almost a quarter of a million signs in a 4 month period as well as liaising with the individual venue project managers and co-ordinating work through the studio for the Olympic Games and then the huge transition into the Paralympic Games.

I was responsible for producing 38 publications per year and numerous other marketing media, copy editing, scheduling, print buying and negotiating. Eight publications were translated – I managed the process, keeping on top of the schedule and workflow from translation and layout in-country, to client sign-off and print. I played a pivotal role in the design process as well as planning across all titles with the editorial and design team plus monitoring sales, advising, leading and encouraging.In 2008, I took on the additional responsibility of an event management role. Hotcourses runs two to three student fairs per year and I was responsible for running the entire event, from coordinating the redesign of the event web site, ensuring all exhibitors were kept informed and organising their individual requirements to ensuring a venue was booked and prepared. I also managed the marketing for the event which included 250k of direct mail, school liaison, social media and managing a marketing assistant. I also managed all elements of the events Hotcourses attended in USA, Europe and all over the UK.
