As a Senior Manager in the field I am responsible for a team of local managers, nearly 200 groups and approximately 100 self employed consultants. Taking over a newly formed District I was Nominated District of the Year 2017/18, my first year in the role.During the Covid-19 Pandemic I was able to train the Team Developer and Group Leaders in remote working and hosting remote groups enabling my District to consistently rank highly in the country in terms of retention of both members and consultants.I train and support consultants to develop promotion skills to grow and develop their businesses, specialising in Social Media skill development and understanding the needs of a potential member.I have worked alongside our customers and members to support the resolution of any issues or complaints, ensuring that the member is always happy and satisfied with the outcome.I have supported, developed and trained 6 consultants to step successfully into our first level management roles.

Working away from home in West Yorkshire I was supporting a district without its own District Manager.In this role, I quickly and effectively developed brand new working and social relationships enabling me to support Team Developers and Managers to success.In the 10 months that I ran this area I recruited and developed 3 new local team managers into post, and participated in the training and support of 2 new incoming District Managers for the area.In addition to this i continued to manage and organise my family life back in Somerset.

In this position I regularly achieved District Recognition for having the Highest Quality Team and Highest Member Retention. I was frequently in the Top 3 of the district for overall achievement.In my time in this role I recruited new consultants, worked with both new and existing consultants to open new groups in my area and developed the team to a Silver Quality Team.

Successfully launching and developing 4 Slimming World groups in the local area, supporting over 150 members each week to successful weight loss.I achieved many company awards and accolades for my group including the prestigious Pearl award, earning me a place on a special "Thank You Day" in Nottingham.I supported members to overcome challenges around their weight and the psychology of their weight problems, many of whom continue to be successful today.

I trained new and existing staff in all care practices to equip them to deliver Home Care in the Community.I sourced and wrote training programmes as required and liaised with local college providers to access NVQ training for staff.I qualified to deliver Manual Handling training, booked venues to run this, and ensured all staff training was updated as per regulatory requirements.I also continued to be a representative for the BANES Domicilary Care Providers in the South West England NHS End of Life Care Steering Group.

Starting as a Care Assistant in a new industry I was quickly able to gain the practical experience needed to allow me to make use of my Management Skills in a promotion to Specialist Teams Supervisor.In 2008 i was offered the chance to interview for the post of Domiciliary Care manager to open a new expansion office for the company in the BANES council area.I was successful in this and opened the office, recruiting a new team of carers and admin staff, organising new premises, supporting Tupee staff into their new company, building relationships with local commissioners, healthcare professionals and other local care companies.Working with the local college I was able to successfully start an apprenticeship programme allowing staff, including myself to gain multiple NVQ qualifications accessing funding so there was no extra cost to the employee or company.My leadership allowed us to achieve a Good rating, with areas noted as Outstanding, from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) at our first inspection as a new Care Business.

Following on from previous successful employment at Pizza Hut I was welcomed back to the role in Taunton upon relocating to the area.I was quickly able to resume the role and support the restaurant to improve in many key measures including Cost of Sales, Cost of Labour and Stock Management.
