With a background in hospitality operations (held a licence for Allied Domeq at 25) and Sales/ Marketing/ Account Management (Bacardi Martini) I joined Purple Cubed (then learnpurple) in 2001 to fulfil the purpose of transforming the lives of everyone we come into contact with for the better through working with organisations on culture, purpose and values, embedding that through leadership capability and underpinning with technology. I'm now the co-founder of two businesses. Korero, is an HR tech platform giving organisations the people data they need to plan for success, enabling leaders to have great career conversations with their teams, and people to drive their own development and progression. Think of it as a smart, continuous, 'always on' replacement for traditional appraisals and talent management. We also run the technology behind Best Places to Work in Hospitality and Best Workplaces in Travel and work with many amazing clients on their employee surveys. Hendrick and Hyde is a consultancy helping organisations to build authentic cultures through diagnostics and analysis, defining purpose, values and behaviours (and most importantly how to make them stick), Senior team alignment and people engagement / retention strategy. I also am lucky enough to be invited to regularly judge The Best Employer Catey, The Hotel Cateys, The Food Service Cateys, The Springboard Awards for Excellence, HR in Hospitality Awards and The Purple Umbrella Awards. I love connecting people, am a mentor and have a great network of partners and providers of 'the people stuff' within hospitality.
