I worked at BCD Travel for 6 years as a Business Travel Consultant and Senior Business Travel Consultant. My main duties included making flight, hotel, rail, eurostar and car hire reservations for clients.I achieved promotion in May 2010 to Senior Business Travel Consultant. This included taking on more responsibility within my team. These duties involved training and developing new starters, producing administrative reports, quality control checks, procedural checks at the end of the working day and taking leadership of the team on the absence of the supervisor.

I began work at TUI in April of 2002 as a Sales Consultant. This role involved ensuring that all personal targets set by the management were met on a weekly basis, dealing with the public face to face and over the telephone and delivering a high standard of customer service. Working well within a team environment was essential in order to be successful in this role.I was promoted into the role of Assistant Manager in July 2005. This role gave me more responsibility in terms of ensuring weekly and monthly shop sales targets set by the manager were met, seeing customer service standards were met and ensuring that audit checks were carried out correctly. I was responsible for all the staff in the absence of the manager and was tasked with ensuring that staff were kept motivated and customer flow was generated by producing enticing deals and window displays. I was also given the role of the ski booking specialist for the Hull area due to my high sales turnover.
