As a corporate strategist and sustainability leader with more than 25 years’ experience, I am passionate about helping to transition capital, companies and industries towards a more sustainable future. To achieve this, I combine executive experience in strategy, sustainability, innovation, finance and engineering to work with companies and investors to achieve positive change.My career has spanned a diversity of industries and organisations in: Investment Stewardship; Superannuation; Investment Management; Insurance; Utilities; Transport; Defence and Health sectors. In my roles I have gained international experience across Australia, Japan, UK, USA and the Middle East.I have also spent the past 6 years helping to protect oceans and reefs, reduce livestock methane emissions, and protect biodiversity. I led a team at the Australian Seaweed Institute, to complete the design work for an innovative nature-based solution to help protect the Great Barrier Reef from water quality decline. My work is recognised by the World Economic Forum as one of the top 10 ocean innovations for impact and was a presenter at the EU Algae Summit 2023, UN Oceans Conference 2022, Monaco Ocean Week 2022 and Economist Ocean Summit in 2021. I am also the Chair of the Board of Australian Sustainable Seaweed Alliance - a not-for-profit group representing industry and working across government and research to help build a regenerative seaweed industry in Australia and globally.
