I have the privilege of managing Students Demand Action leaders and chapters across the fifteen states of the northeast region. I provide students with knowledge, resources, and opportunities to engage in policy work, electoral work, and community organizing to advance gun violence prevention principles and policies. I pride myself on helping students evolve into the leaders they are capable of being and citizens with the skills to make informed and conscientious decisions about the world around them.

- Served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of a large student governmentorganization, representing over 40,000 undergraduate students- Acted as the primary delegate and spokesperson of undergraduate students to university administration, governmental officials, and all other external partners- Oversaw and reconciled a two-million-dollar budget to guide the allocations of funds providingcomprehensive services to the student body of Michigan State University- Advised and collaborated with administrators, students, and legislators in the wake of a mass tragedy to pass foundational gun reform in Michigan and provide resources and supports for students- Coordinated and managed a staff of over 70 employees in developing organizational goals, implementing long-term plans, and day-to-day operations

- Served as the Parliamentarian to Michigan State University's student government- Facilitated training and provided resources to new members of the organization to prepare them in representing their constituencies- Maintained all constitutional documents and monitored the movement of legislation- Overseeaw the Internal Administration department- Advised the legislative body of MSU's student government as well as, Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Class Councils- Created weekly communications to members of ASMSU to keep members informed of the happenings within ASMSU

- Elected democratically by students at Michigan State University’s James Madison College to uplift and represent the voices of over 2000 students in the student government’s General Assembly.- Attended Ad-Hoc Committee meetings to effectively collaborate with other students on advocacy regarding sustainability and sexual assault & relationship violence (SARV) - Introduced and collaborated on 31 bills that advocated on behalf of Michigan State University’s undergraduate students. - Authored legislation and campaigned advocacy in order to: - Make both the organization and MSU courses more accessible to students of all abilities - Create a position to solidify collaborations with MSU’s Council of Graduate Students - Advocate for the removal of state tax on menstrual hygiene products to the Michigan legislature - Enact a leasing ordinance for MSU student off-campus housing that created a timeline for lease renewals to protect students in municipalities around MSU - Establish a committee to reform RVSM policies and procedures - Advocate for a voting student seat on the MSU Board of Trustees - Pass the tampon tax in the State of Michigan

- Strengthened and managed a coalition of Big Ten Student Government Associations representing 500,000+ students across eleven states - Collaborated strategically with organizations to lobby federal and state government officials for student needs in the Big Ten and beyond. - Coordinated Washington D.C. lobbying conference for fourteen student government associations - Enacted organizational priorities and proposed policies and programs to uplift the voices of the students in the Big Ten Conference

- Coordinated and tracked federal advocacy points that were important to the students across the fourteen Big Ten institutions- Maintained the official list of membership and contact information for each delegation leadership- Established and formalized a newsletter for all member delegates to provide updates to one another in an efficient way - Developed a federal and state policy platform for the fourteen member institutions and the eleven states they reside in

- Crafted templates for a myriad of communications to send to constituents and colleagues for Representative Tenisha Yancey (MI-01)- Streamlined process for answering constituent information requests by utilizing Google Suites- Acquired advanced knowledge of governmental advocacy and processes

- Organized volunteer hours and areas for other volunteers to canvas for votes- Aided in calling registered voters to generate support for the Democratic slate of candidates- Assisted in informing members of general public on political topics for the 2018 midterm election
