In my role as a Resourcing Specialist I am responsible for effectively partnering with internal stakeholder groups to create proactive succession pipelines both internally and externally.I provide an efficient and effective end to end internal resourcing piece for hires directly into the organisationI have specific responsibility for the following business areas: FinanceMarketingCustomer ServicesHilti StoresLegalHRRepairLogisticsEngineeringFrom 2020, I am also a member of the WellChild committee. WellChild is the national UK children's charity helping to get seriously ill children and young people out of hospital and home to their families. Hilti have partnered with the charity for a number of years now, supporting by fundraising and taking part in community outreach programmes across the UK.

As a Sourcing Specialist at Hilti, my role is to manage the Sourcing Strategy and to research and trial new exciting and innovative techniques to attract a consistent pipeline of candidates to Hilti across many different business units including High Volume Sales, Engineering, Logistics, Marketing, Graduates and future management talent. Methods can include building new partnerships with universities and training providers, job board analysis, agency suppliers, job fairs, local and national advertising, social media interaction and other valuable tools to ensure Hilti is known as an employer of choice.I am also responsible for recruitment in our Manchester Head Office for roles within Finance, Marketing and Customer Service,I am also involved in other projects within Head Office; I am the Change Champion for LEAN in the Recruitment team. The implementation of Lean in HR won the Hilti GB and Global awards for Best Lean Initiative in 2017 and my role is to continue to embed lean in the team and wider HR department to streamline processes to increase efficiency.
