My background and experiences are multi-faceted but ultimately I am passionate about making a difference for others. I am an experienced manager, social leader and informal educator, JNC qualified Youth and Community Worker and qualified Graphic Designer.I guess being one of the biggest kids going helps me to design and create educational and fun resources and programmes for children, young people and adults. Helping them make the most of their own talents and harness the energy and enthusiasm that they have. Providing fun and inspirational activities to help them achieve their dreams. If it can be imagined, it can be achieved!Encouraging enterprise and entrepreneurship in those that are young and young at heart. Learning doesn't have to be dull and it's part of our daily lives. Informal learning at its best - thinking outside of the box has been and gone... now we design the box before we build it and think outside of it!Described as a whirlwind (and a little bit nutty too) I have been told my ideas just pour out and are infectious to others. I relish the opportunity to work with other like minded people, creating opportunities for shared learning and innovation to affect positive change.One of my main areas of interest is Psychology and understanding 'how we tick'. This has provided some great insight within my practice and areas of delivery, and opened more opportunities to greater areas of learning.I love knowing the work that I do is valued and makes a difference, and I am an advocate for the need to demonstrate and evidence its worth.
