Responsible for and consultant for the design, setup, and maintenance of HP Quality Center for use across the NATS site for test management of a range of differing size projects/teams. Integrate existing design and review processes within the various development lifecycles at use within NATS to produce an efficient, logical test process within the test management tool. With a successful background and many years experience of software testing this provided an interesting role whilst supporting both the management and the test teams to use a test management tool.

Contract position as Test Engineer working on various ATC Support Systems. Review Test Design documents to produce Test Cases, perform execution and analysis of test scripts for the testing of scheduled updates and changes to the Operational system. Part of the Infrastructure team ensuring that support systems for Air Traffic Controllers function correctly following the introduction of new software. Involved in design review meetings prior to changes being accepted for development and the preparation for testing of these changes to take place.

Contract position as Test Analyst working on the Portman and Nationwide migration and integration project. Testing included the verification of interface data across the merged business. Ensuring Portman data successfully reached FTP servers in the correct format for use in the relevant Nationwide systems. Identifying failures in the data and reporting these failures back to developers for quick fixes to be implemented and retested.
