As the Operations Manager at Castlecomer Discovery Park, I oversee the planning, delivery, and evaluation of outdoor adventure programmes for diverse groups of customers, from families and schools to corporate and community clients. With over 20 years of experience in the leisure, travel, and tourism industry, I have developed strong skills in rock climbing, sea kayaking, military and strategic leadership, as well as a Mountain Leader certification from Mountaineering Ireland.I am passionate about ensuring inclusion and accessibility throughout all programme development, creating further opportunities for people of all abilities to participate in experiences of their choice. I also take great enjoyment from leading and mentoring teams, exploring methods of staff training and development, and facilitating personal and professional growth in team members. I am a board member of the European Ropes Course Association and the Vice President of the Reserve Defence Force Representative Association, where I contribute to the advancement and advocacy of outdoor learning and defence forces.
