Business Manager for Academics Ltd, working mainly with SEND schools to ensure the best candidates are placed in the most appropriate schools. With 24 years experience in SEND education, culminating in a Headship, I have the knowledge and passion to support SEND schools with their recruitment needs. As a former Head Teacher, I am all too aware of the need for flexible staffing models in running an SEN provision. I am also aware of the many, many emails and calls from recruiters which are received by schools on a daily basis. I chose to work with Academics Ltd for 3 main reasons. 1) They are a highly respected company, recommended by several of my current connections in the world of education.2) They hold the same values as me and genuinely want to work in a fair, transparent and ethical way to better improve outcomes for SEN children and young adults.3) As a former SEN professional, I have always enjoyed 'thinking outside the box'. Every stakeholder involved needs to understand and embrace this in their efforts to support these young people.
