Working in the Innovation and Good Practice team at Homeless Link, I have managed a portfolio of projects aimed at increasing good practice across England. Since January 2016 I have been leading the work on Housing First England, a three year project aiming to increase the number of areas in the country offering Housing First, and supporting and improving existing projects. My role includes offering support and guidance to a variety of audiences through a range of events, guidance and other online tools. I am also responsible for bringing providers and commissioners together into local networks and building a national movement. I have spoken at both national and international events to raise the profile of the project and the approach.Projects include:- Street Counts and Estimates (2015)- Your Vote Matters (2015)- Autism and Homelessness (2015) - Severe Weather Emergency Provision (2015)- Your Area good practice events (2015-16)- Trauma Informed Care (ongoing)- Housing First England (from Jan 2016)- Transatlantic Practice Exchange (ongoing)- Consultancy and training (ongoing)This role requires me to engage with a variety of statutory (national and local) partners, the homelessness sector and other partners e.g. housing associations, health services and academics.

The Pan London Personalised Budgets project began in 2011 and is funded and monitored by the Greater London Authority and two other trust funds. This innovative project provides intensive support and a personal budget to individuals who have slept rough in London from between 4 and 45 years and who were unable to engage with traditional outreach methods. The purpose of the project is to empower individuals to take control over their futures through personalised and tailored support. I work with individuals across London on a 1:1 basis, building a relationship with them and using a variety of skills to support them to resettle away from the street into their homes.
