Community and Events Fundraiser for WUTH Charity.

- Establish, promote and maintain strong working relationships with licenced organisations and the staff involved to ensure the delivery of a high quality DofE programme across the region which includes maintaining effective communication and support for managers offering them advice and guidance. Areas include education (HE and FE), apprenticeships and football clubs and their communities.- Grow existing and recruit and develop new centres undertaking the Expeditions Support Service in order to assist with the regional growth targets in areas across the North of England.- Deliver and oversee training courses and expeditions to a constant high standard within the North of England for volunteers, regional staff and DofE staff within the wider network, this includes keeping abreast of government, local authority and other policies and initiatives and ensuring all staff are appropriately trained.- Recruit train and retain DofE volunteers and freelance staff for the Expedition Support Service.- Attend and deliver meetings and presentations as appropriate to support growth and development within the Charity. Including royal events, university launches, parents meetings, manager conferences and youth programmes. -Lead and coordinate the outdoor risk assessments, offsite procedures paperwork and incident report forms for the North of England office.- Be the main point of contact for Head Office training and Mountain Training England. - Organise and maintain a clear kit inventory and report to Head Office and the Regional Director when required.- Working closely with and supporting the Regional Director to develop new initiatives.- Planning and managing land expeditions with up to 90 young people and 20 staff at a time.

- Supporting the operation and development of the DofE within the region.- Supporting and leading with assessor networks, including creating newsletters, organising meetings taking minutes, dealing with queries and issues from the Assessors, creating and delivering presentations to the network and maintaining a positive relationship with them.- Assist with the preparation of grant applications and the monitoring and reporting of externally funded projects.- Develop the DofE work with disadvantaged young people, those with additional needs and those from minority ethnic communities. - General administrative duties including use of various Microsoft applications.

- Responsible for client groups of all ages, sizes and abilities. - Managing activities such as climbing, orienteering, kayaking, archery and team building activities.- Training and assessing new members of staff. - Responsible for staffing rota, ensuring safe skill mix, bookings, general enquires.
