Jo Salter BA (Hons 1st Fine Art): I am graphic designer, project manager, curator, teacher and artist working in a range of media. I have over twenty five years experience of designing, fine art practice and teaching as well as devising and collaborating on major projects across the UK.www.josalter.org.ukMy design work is driven by my understanding of the way we see/perceive the world about which I learnt at art college.I live in East Devon but am from Scotland and particularly the Western Isles. I was involved in the development and running of one of Scotland's most successful art centres Taigh Chearsabhagh (pron: tie kurse-a-vah) and was gallery manager and curator at out of the blue arts and regeneration Trust, in Edinburgh, a one-off artist led organisation with night club, gallery, 31 studios, outreach programme and much more. Sailing and islands are my passion when I have the time!I speak basic Spanish and lived in Spain for 2 years.
