I am Founder and Director of Inclusioneering Limited, offering Inclusive Innovation consultancy to support tech and engineering organisations with data-led culture transformation for diversity, equity and inclusion, integrally connected with the innovation process, for fair and equitable outcomes by design of products, operations and services.I can support you by implementing data-led approaches to gain insight and develop impactful DEI strategies, build greater inclusion in your engineering teams, and establish governance and controls for responsible & equitable Artificial Intelligence development or deployment. I have previously held the role Director of People Data and Insights at AVEVA, a leading FTSE 50 technology firm, and have shared evidence with government regarding inclusion in tech and engineering fields. Alongside this, I am a Trustee of the BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, co-chair of BCS Women, member of the Industry Advisory Board for TechUp, and a Board Director of AI ethics and audit charity, ForHumanity. I began my career as an engineer, developing enterprise software for global industry, spanning energy, automotive, aerospace and marine sectors. Having pivoted my focus from the technical to human dimensions of engineering, I now use quantitative and qualitative evidence to underpin impactful change programmes. I hold an MSc in Organisational and Business Psychology, with thesis research topic “Lessons for Gender and Racial Diversity within Technology”, investigating what I call "The Agile Inclusion Paradox". My long experience working as an engineer has brought me deep understanding of the engineering culture, and lived experience as a woman within it. This complements my formal training to bring greater insights to my work of diversity and inclusion in tech and engineering domains.
