I am a healthcare IT specialist with clinical experience in Children's nursing (registered nurse) with specific speciality qualifications in Neonatal intensive Care, SCPHN and Children's Nursing. I have more recently gained experience in areas of product design, requirements gathering, build, configuration, testing and product deployment of healthcare IT systems both clinical and administrative. I have excellent knowledge of business processes within the healthcare setting from 11 years experience as a registered nurse within the NHS and a further 2 years working delivering high quality clinical software into complex organisations. I have provided SME expertise , application knowledge and specialist experience in the clinical function areas of the product along with taking owner ship of configuration design workshops and thereafter regular reviews of configuration including testing and documentation. I have excellent skills in communication and building a trusting relationship with customers and stakeholders and ensure that the product has Clinical Safety activities timetabled into the process of delivering a new build and for the products lifecycle. I have used systems previously including badgernet, EMIS, Meditech, PARIS, System one, Care Connect, Medway and MAXIMS.As a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse I look after sick babies and ensure that they have the best start and outcomes possible from early intervention.Specialist community Public health nurse with a demonstrated history of working in the health care industry.
