Head of Legal & Company Secretary with over 15 years’ experience providing advice on corporate and commercial matters to clients in the mining industry.Prior to joining Genesis Minerals, I gained experience at top-tier, global and boutique firms before founding my own successful practice (Sovica Legal) in 2023.My work in private practice has been recognised by Best Lawyers Australia in the area of Mining Law (2022, 2023) and Legal 500 as a ‘Rising Star’ in the area of Natural Resources - Transactions & Regulatory (2023).I am a non-executive director of the Minds Count Foundation (formerly the Tristan Jepson Memorial Foundation), an independent charitable organisation focused on promoting workplace psychological health and safety in the legal profession.I have formerly acted as the Australian Chair of Iris (DLA Piper's network for LGBTIQ+ employees and their allies) and maintain an active interest in all aspects of diversity and inclusion.
