Having worked almost exclusively in the events sector for one organisation over the last 4 years, it’s time for me to look for new opportunities – and I’m very excited to be doing so. I am happy to work on short or long term projects, and on a consultancy, freelance or permanent basis and in either full-time or part-time roles.Alongside my business partner we can offer a diverse range of B2B marketing solutions and have been doing so for a wide range of companies of all sizes to help them develop relationships and sales to their existing and potential customers. I have been doing this independently since 2006 so have a wealth of experience to offer.As Events and Marketing Manager my focus was to bring together senior leaders from the pharmaceutical, biotech, medtech and medical devices, advanced therapies and pharmaceutical manufacturing industries to share best practices and latest innovations in their relevant sectors and grow their own network of senior contacts, through a series of events which attracted C-suite speakers and delegates from their respective industries.My role and experience in events management is broad and includes both face-to-face and virtual events:• Budget management• Delegate acquisition, using a range of strategies• Sponsor and exhibitor contracting and ensuring all deliverables we met, pre-event, on event days and post-event• Managing circa 60-80 speakers at each event ensuring they were supplied with all relevant information and support• Venue and 3rd party supplier contracting and management• Writing and preparing marketing and sales support collateral• Engaging with non-commercial partners and managing the ongoing relationships• Managing a small team of events staff• Regular updates to WordPress website, to ensure all event, speaker, sponsor and partner information was relevant and up to date• Managing and reporting on KPIs• Collecting and reporting post-event surveysI’m competent using MS Office along with experience of several online registration systems including Eventscase, Cvent and OnAir and other tools including WordPress, Canva, Hubspot, Vimeo, MailChimp, Snagit to name a few.
