As an Anesthesia ProFee Coder at Medovent Solutions, I am responsible for setting up the professional side for anesthesia coding and reporting any errors that might arise with the EHR system Epic. I have been working in this role for over a year, and I am constantly challenged and learning new things every day. I am grateful for this opportunity to apply my skills and credentials as a Certified Coding Associate (CCA) and a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Before joining Medovent Solutions, I worked as a Coding Specialist II at Parkland Hospital for two years, where I coded various outpatient clinics, including Cardiology, Neurology, ENT, and Anesthesia. I also learned how to code inpatient hospitalist charges and achieved a high quality and production rate of 96% and 16 charts per hour, respectively. I am proficient in using EPIC, one of the most widely used EHR systems in the healthcare industry. My goal is to continue working hard and learning more about the Health Information Technology world, which includes the proper use and guidelines of medical coding. It is a constantly changing field and I enjoy the ride it takes me on.
Listed skills include Cca Certification, Medical Coding, Icd 9 Cm, Medical Terminology, and 36 others.
