I have a passion for enabling individuals with disabilities to overcome their barriers and live their lives to the fullest potential. My primary areas of interest lie in working with families on children's self care, fine motor skills, handwriting emotional regulation, and social skills.Client-centeredness and effective clinical reasoning have been developed through recent experience in my:- Support work for children with autism and cerebral palsy- Paediatric OT private practice placement: supporting children at various stages of their OT journey including goal setting, conducting assessments, running therapy sessions, NDIS report writing- Inpatient rehabilitation placement with Queensland Health: guiding patients from admission to discharge in restoring their functional ability through a wide range of assessments and interventions (cognition, perception, upper limb, pressure care etc.), home modifications and equipment/service recommendations.Outside occupational therapy and work, I am an active sports enthusiast, participating in social basketball, soccer, and touch football tournaments. I also volunteer at my local church as a child minder and enjoy traveling.Currently looking for an occupational therapist graduate program for a full time start in 2022!
