After working with brilliant partners and inspired by talented staff members - helping to set up Being Well Salford- I have been working in Rochdale for the past year. (Love Rochdale and its people and places!) Projects include setting up and helping to re-design and transform a Public Health service (Living Well) and also a Substance Misuse service (Pathways). Particular challenges and achievements with these projects have included TUPE into Big Life Group over 50 inspiring and dedicated peole from 3 different organisations including the NHS.     After experiencing depression, I was intrigued to see that Self Help Services, part of the Big Life Group, wanted to appoint an Operations Manager who had personal experience of a mental health issue. Thrilled to be able to use that experience to a positive effect, I joined the organisation. Over the past 2 years, we have taken the charity from £400k turnover and 14 people to £2.5million turnover and over 120 people. We have a brilliant and talented staff team and are providing clinical excellence in primary care mental health services for anxiety, depression, low mood, stress, OCD etc... as well as community-based initiatives focusing on wellbeing. We work across the North West in locations such as Manchester, Stockport, Trafford, Oldham, Widnes, St Helens and provide job and volunteering opportunities for people across the North West. I am responsible for Finance, HR, service levels and performance, targets, internal communication and client contracts. If anyone needs help with regard to stress, anxiety, depression etc..., please contact me. I am very grateful to HP and all my colleagues who supported and inspired me along the way - onwards and upwards!
