With 16 years’ experience working in mental health, I am currently part of the Surrey Heartlands Green Social Prescribing test and learn programme. A cross-government funded project to identify enablers for upscaling and embedding nature-based interventions within health and social care. A key aspect is using GSP to address health inequalities, particularly for members of minority ethnic communities.I am an advocate for raising awareness and destigmatising mental health and mental illness, and I believe that everybody should have the opportunity to realise their abilities. I am passionate about empowering people to develop self-management strategies to maintain health and wellbeing.
