Engaged as a Commercial Property Agent (contract) to identify property opportunities, introduce deals to Clients. Duties include:• Promoting the company’s services to your existing client base• Developing new contacts• Developing a marketing strategy• Actively engaging in online marking and social media to build the company's digital footprint in the commercial real estate industry• Looking at opportunities to raise the company’s profile making use of local media and client events• Growing the business

Engaged by The Guernsey Sports Commission and charged by the Bailiff to take on the fund raising, renovation and rebuild of the run-down KGV facility. I was employed to assist the Trustees in delivering these objectives. The role involved setting prices for the 3G facility, setting up leagues, negotiating contracts for long term users.I came up with several initiatives for fund raising and actively went out to secure further funding with success. I had four staff reporting into me; the two groundsmen, the accounts administrator and the bar manager. Responsible for budgets, planning I had exceeded the targets set by myself and the Trustees, securing several long-term contracts including bringing Leisure Leagues to Guernsey from the UK, running the Southampton FC holiday football clubs. Both Guernsey Rugby and St Jacques made the facility their home.A demanding role which was demanding and varied, it allowed me to gain experience in a start up/rebuild organisation.

Engaged to raise the profile of the Sportingbet in Guernsey. I had sole responsibility for identifying sponsorships in the Guernsey community, choosing those appropriate and managing them.Responsible for the autonomous management of a sponsorship budget of £175,000 per annum Building a strong relationship with our chosen charity Headway Guernsey, taking a lead role in raising funds for them. Responsible for all PR initiatives and worked closely with the local PR company to ensure that the Company was represented appropriately. Liaising with senior management team identifying appropriate media opportunities, advising them on how to manage the media. Organising all our staff functions which included twice yearly parties for approximately 100 staff and partners. Negotiating our most well-known sponsorship was Guernsey Football Club. I spent a considerable length of time with Steve Dewsnip and Mark Le Tissier before we agreed to sponsor the club. Identifying weak areas of their business plan and making suggestions on how to raise funds. I worked with them for approximately 9 months before we agreed to sponsor them. We also took part in Every Child Our Future programme which sees staff volunteer to go into primary schools and listen to the children read. This proved very popular with the staff and they found t hugely rewarding.
