Joanna Zell Email and Phone Number

Interdisciplinary researcher and project manager, initially trained in chemistry and biochemistry, an enthusiastic and trilingual communicator and writer, along with wide volunteering experience. I aspire to using these skills to durably develop science. I recently worked at Bayer Crop Science optimising new chemical and biological lab processes to develop novel, biodegradable fungicides and pharmaceutical anti-cancer agents. During my academic career I studied the mechanism of action of alternative DNA formations using small molecule DNA ligands, (ICMUB, Dijon) with chemical biology techniques. In my PhD I studied the incorpoation of glycosphingolipids into cell culture for research purposes (Institut Curie, Paris). In my spare time I contribute to projects with Chimistes sans Frontières and I participate in event with the Franco-British council and Pint of Science.
