In an era characterized by some as ‘post-factual’ or `post-truth´, I am a strong defender of a business culture in which decisions are driven by facts rather than beliefs. Good managerial decisions rely on comprehensive information and valid assessments, essential elements that make the creation of new patient treatment options predictable and successful. R&D and commercial risks do not need to be accepted outright: they can be identified and managed!Together with my colleagues at Bioscience Valuation I strive to identify value-maximizing business strategies to support decision making in resource allocation, licensing, M&A transactions, and financings. Based on our assessments I also support our clients `hands-on´, e.g., to license a drug or to sell a business unit.
