Providing substantive… Show more As a research intern I worked in the Social Dimensions of Sustainable Development Program and collaborated with both Dunja Krause (Research Officer) and Paul Ladd (Director) in research, communication and project development activitiesMore specifically my work consisted in: Conducting background research and working on a literature review on the Just Transition and the impact of the shift from fossil fuels to renewables on former coal workers. Providing substantive editing and comments to researchers working in the Just Transition Research Collaborative (JTRC). All of these researchers contributed to think pieces which were published jointly with the International Social Science Council (ISSC) on an online forum ( Just Transition(s) to a Low-Carbon World). Actively participating, debating and taking notes during a 2 day workshop in Bonn in Germany with the participants to the JTRC to prepare a state of the art report for the COP24. Pursuing and presenting my masters dissertation work on how solar energy an India can contribute to a green industrial policy within a federal landscape. Presenting jointly with Dunja Krause the JTRC to masters students interested in our work.Writing think pieces on the need for transformative change and on how to re-embed the energy transition in India to make it more socially inclusive.
