- Leading tailored tour experiences for a wide range of visitors to the Parliament of Victoria providing information on the history of the building and the parliamentary process. Groups included, school students, international and domestic travelers, international students and community groups- Checking in and registering visitors, providing exceptional customer service and guidance to ensure both a smooth and memorable experience of the Parliament of Victoria- Coordinating and leading role-play experiences for school students to experience a day in the life of a member of parliament and to more fully understand the parliamentary process, getting students excited and enthusiastic and creating an environment where they will both learn and remember- Working as a key part of the Parliament of Victoria team to meet the demands of the working Parliament of Victoria, providing support to the Parliament on sitting days, working to ensure the safety and efficiency of the parliament and being flexible and adaptable to complete additional duties as required

Working to improve the financial capability and resilience of people across the Northern Territory and beyond with an aim to increase their financial well-being in to the future!- Inaugurated and lead the development of engaging learning materials to empower clients to take control of their financial future- Collaborated with key partners to collaboratively define the problems and then brainstorm how to meet the needs of both metropolitan and remote communities throughout the NT- Collaborated with with key advocacy groups to collectively define problems, pathways and solutions to financial wellbeing challenges facing communities across the NT and learning how to be a key advocate for change- Worked with communities in the NT, empowering their financial literacy at the same time as learning about the challenges facing these communities with an emphasis on access and equity and starting to brainstorm and develop solutions- Employed highly tuned active listening and customer orientation skills to understand the financial literacy needs of clients and then work with them to find solutions - Deployed organisational and administration skills to ensure detailed records are kept of all essential activities and casework- Expertly used communication and de escalation skills to manage difficult situations in the workplace in a timely and safe manner - Worked as part of a team that ensured sufficient supplies were available to meet the needs of clients, completing ordering processes, visual stock-takes and the effective receipting and reconciling of purchases

I am excited to be working with educators, decision makers and technology partners to assist schools and teachers across New South Wales (NSW) to embrace Technology for Learning.From researching and testing new technology for the classroom, to assisting teachers and students become familiar with the latest technology, I am driven to empower a future where technology is an active partner in the learning process.Developing content in a range of media, to both highlight stories of success from schools around New South Wales as well as provide guidance, support and inspiration is a highlight of my position. Videography, online and text publishing as well as social media communication are skills I am passionately developing. A key part of my role is coordinating and delivering professional learning and events where, when and how it is needed, enabling teachers and students to be inspired and confident to engage with technology in the classroom. I look forward to the challenges of this position and measure my success on the reach and empowerment of others to infuse their school and classroom with technology.

I am excited to be focusing on inspiring teachers and students to Create, Invent and Innovate in the classroom with technology. I endeavour to do this through the creation of communities of practice both physical and virtual across Australia and beyond. I connect educators with examples of best practice being an enabler for a can do approach to change in classroom focus and pedagogy. I bring a passion for student centred and project based learning combined with a love of technology in a mission to influence positive change in education. Specific responsibilities and action areas include:- Maintenance & development of outward facing websites to assist educators across Australia- Thought leadership in the areas of STEM / BYOD / Educational Technologies / Makerspaces - Facilitation of teacher training in STEM, Physical Computing, Arduino & other digital technologies - Development of content for global & local social media channels to connect & inform the education community- Coordination of online communities of practice to empower & inspire educators - Collaboration with key technology partners to deliver solutions for schools, governments & students- Working with stakeholders on a variety of levels on educational technology & STEM based projects. - Leader of both physical and virtual Communities of Practice (Google Champions / Apple iInnovators) to support the ongoing use and implementation of technology tools in the classroom - Delivery of presentations and workshops to Education Directors, Principals, Technology Groups to up-skill and inform on the latest technology initiatives- Coordinated liaisons between technical staff and schools representatives to ensure technology solutions meet the needs and are responsive to the school educational setting - Key contributor and coordinator of ‘Technology News for Schools’ state wide technology newsletter in addition to contributions to key educational journals and blogs- Development of online professional learning portals to allow self directed learning by teachers across NSW- Assisted development of key policy and support documentation with respect to Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) in schools- Delivery of webinar/video conferencing programs on technology tools in addition to utilizing this technology to facilitate the growth of communities of practice - Key leader in the delivery of educational technology tools ‘Google Apps for Education’ and ‘Microsoft Office 365’ to NSW Public Schools in 2013/4- Liasions with technology vendors to deliver programs and tools to benefit the students and teachers of NSW public schools
