Between 1990 and 1995, I studied Electronic Engineering in Mannheim, Germany.After developing test-systems for mobile communication components (GSM) I moved to Valeo Electronics in Remchingen, Germany where I developed CAN-bound HMI- and climate-control and dashboard-units.Since founding K2L in 1999, I concentrate on the development of MOST-Applications and re-configurable Gateway-Components like the Universal Gateway (UGW).In respect to the rapid growing of K2L I occupied the position CMO inside K2L and dropped own software development activities.Specialties: I am very found of applying all important field-bus interfaces like CAN, Flexray, MOST and Ethernet in combination with dynamic or static OS-solutions for automotive purposes. Within 2012, together with my team I established and applied a work-flow suggested by the OMG, covered by the CETITEC "MSDK"-product, that enables us to model completely new (!) automotive infotainment system in UML (static and dynamic behavior) in form of a platform independent model (PIM), to transform this into a platform specific model (PSM) and to finally export it into a platform specific manifest e.g. a MOST Function-Catalog.
