Joachim's background is in the innovative technology sector. He has over sixteen years' experience in project managing academic and commercial R&D.Joachim has started up two companies. One is managing research projects in the sustainability arena (compost, biogas process waste). The other was initially working with the Cambridge University Hospital to bring a medical device prototype to clinical trials. Currently his second company is helping clients to fix pressing issues, ranging from developing prototypes for automated devices to finding urgent promising material options for the manufacturing industry. Joachim has formed consortia, won tenders, delivered R&D and reports, gathered information used by government departments, designed and built prototypes both for industry and medical sector.
