Part of the team which develops DistrictCenter.This is a tool for people working in the local districts to manage their work. There are various modules for different types of jobs (for example damage handling, handling the orders to the subcontracters, notifications, budgetting). There are many integrations with other AWV projects and a large integration with financing (eDelta).

PROGS is my company. Through PROGS I am available for contract work. Apart from the constract work, there is a focus on open source software, focussed mainly on the development of "equanda".equanda is a framework for generating a java enterprise application from a description of the domain model. This domain model includes hints. Most notable aspects of the application which are generated are the persistence layer and the user interface.

Spoon-IT helps making software development projects successful. My role is mostly performing architecture validations, code inspections and ad hoc bug fixing.

I helped the project reach next level by helping them achieve the improvements which are on the roadmap. Additionally, I applied my experience as user and commiter in other open source projects to help them build a thriving community.I contributed in the evolution of Geomajas 1.4 to Geomajas 1.6, the productizing of the framework from an internal library to a supportable system. For this I did an in-depth code review, especially of backend code, and suggested architectural improvements including better modularization, support for multiple faces, spring-based configuration and dependency injection, security, introduction of pipelines. This resulted in a defined API contract and some tools to assure the API is not broken. I was also part of the team which realised these improvements.I was part of the team which handled the technical support for Geomajas. I have given Geomajas talks and trainingI wrote several Geomajas plug-ins (including a security plug-in, caching etc) and contributed to several Geomajas based application (including the Ktunaxa RMS - also open source).

Building the link between the front-end web system and the back-end banking systems. Also worked on a web archiving system.

As part of the Prolix FP6 European research project, my role is to work on the competency part for the PROLIX project.

Working on software research projects, productising existing/future software products. Two main areas of work are- competency management software as part of the PROLIX European project- portfolio management software and the security issues involved as part of the TAS³ European project

Developing software for the food industry, more specifically meat industry with a strong focus on slaughterhouses. Developed architecture of IC-trace, a traceability product which was/is developing towards a ERP system and which focusses on having a very strong integration on the workfloor, including communication with the weighing devices and labelling machines. IC-trace is a very flexible system where can be adapted to the clients personal way of working through configuration.Started the Uni-d open source project which was used as framework for the development of IC-trace. Thanks to Uni-d the development is mostly model driven. This aids the consistency of the application.The job included interaction with the client to extract the requirements and determine the clients configuration and required extensions.
