I was responsible for process design of new plants and revamping existing systems for clients mainly operating within the food and pharmaceutical industries.

As process engineer at ÅF I was conducting projects for customers in the life science industry sector. I wrote user requirements specifications and conducted basic design of fermentation equipment and utility systems. In addition, I was involved in the quality assurance of the projects to ensure that the delivered equipment lived up to the stringent requirements of food production.

At PRC Engineering I was responsible for doing process design calculations, e.g. mass and energy balances and pressure drop calculations.

Worked as summer substitute at an oil refinery. As operating technician my main responsibility was to handle the maintenance and running of the plants process equipment such as furnaces, pumps and compressors. The job assignment also included sample-taking and dosage of chemicals.

During my studies I had an additional job, working as consultant for around ten hours a week. The job tasks included sales, internal and external projects. I was a part of the Energy and Environment business area and thus worked with energy calculations in the external projects.

Worked in the research laboratory with mixing, application and testing of formulas for lacquers and stains. In addition, I also calibrated various analysis equipment.

During the summer I worked as tennis coach and janitor at the local tennis club. My main responsibility was the daily care of the tennis courts and also minor repairs when required.
