Master thesis focusing on distribution of vehicles in Europe. In depth analysis of network design, modes of transportation covering road, rail and short-sea, and detailed cost analysis. During this project I have gained better understanding on how to build a distribution network, the railway industry, and I have built a better network covering many different stakeholders in the industry across Europe.

Family business built from ground up and is now the biggest contractor in Northern-Norway of area-security. I had responsibilities and duties regarding logistics and procurement, but also took it upon myself to be in charge of HR. As the company uses foreign labour power (Baltic region), this was a pivotal role especially during 2020-2021 when covid-19 measures where in force. During my time in the company I was part of changing the sourcing strategy of raw materials from Europe to India, recruitment of labour from Hungary/Lithuania, and participating in contract negotiations with big players such as Bane Nor and The Norwegian Armed Forces. Respsonsibilites:• Coordination of all import and transportation. Trucks and overseas container shipping, and therefore negotiation of Incoterms to be used in contracts.• Procurement / Sourcing of finishes products, components and raw materials.• Safety representative (HR) and in charge of recruitment - pivotal role during Covid-19. • Administration work such as billing, placing purchase orders and controlling hour-lists of the workers. • Providing excellent customer service.
