ReaderStage was a publishing / media startup with an ebook store, legacy reader app and publishing platform for aspiring authors. I never worked full time at ReaderStage but remained an outside advisor after my initial freelance project with them.

Whilst working at N2 we decided to set up a service design agency under the N2 umbrella. Because we were building Nolla from the ground up, the job description consisted of pretty much everything: sales & new business work, consulting, design direction, project & client leadership.

Over a period of five years I had the pleasure of leading (among many other things) the work for OP-Pohjola (largest bank & insurance group in Finland) and the digital initiatives for telecom giant Elisa.

Founded in 2000 Ego was the digital arm of Taivas Group. Over the years Ego grew to be the biggest company within the group and was finally merged to advertising agency Taivas in 2008. My role: Partner, Board member, Managing Director.

Starting in '94 as employee number three, I watched this company grow to 150+ people (whilst hiring 2/3 of them myself) over a period of five years and then merge in to the Finnish IT giant Tieto. In true startup fashion we had a re org every other month, so I ended up working almost every title / position along the way: designer, lead, manager, director.
