I want to use my skills to help people get a fair deal within the healthcare system.

The Glenwood Water District Board members are elected for four year terms and are accountable for county tax dollars collected form Glenwood residents and businesses. The tax dollars are used to pay for fire service to Glenwood, to purchase water from Springfield Utility Board for Glenwood residents, to repair and maintain water lines and light poles. Glenwood Water District is an Oregon Special District.

The WNA CPC acts as stewards of the natural area by removing invasive species, planting native species, making recommendations regarding activities that affect the natural area, and working together with Eugene Parks and Open Spaces & Willamalane Park & Recreation District. I also serve on the Government Relations Subcommittee.

I became involved in the public process regarding the City of Springfield because I live in its Urban Growth Boundary of Glenwood. I have served as a member of the Glenwood Refinement Plan Citizen's Advisory Committee, the SEDA Budget Committee, the Glenwood Renewal Advisory Committee (GRAC), and various ad hoc committees.

My position here was in the Social Security Disability Insurance Benefits (DIB) department.

Maintained, protected, and planted native plant beds as part of the Seattle Parks & Recreation Department's project to develop, use, and preserve lands that were formerly military bases. Discovery Park used to be Fort Lawton.

The Arc of Lane County serves people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Volunteer ambulance service, EMT 2-D level certification. I also wrote and produced our department newsletter during this time.

Organized chapter activities, mostly First Aid and CPR trainings, fund raising, and provided disaster relief.
