Responsible for the daily operation of an eight bed Step-down Unit in addition to coordination and delegation of primary nursing functions in ICU operations. Dutifully provides patient care in times of heavy patient activity. Serves as the Administrative Representative for the Unit Based Practice Council. Completes evaluation of direct report staff nurses during the annual employee review process. Sits on multiple QA councils within the hospital system.

Responds to all emergency calls within hospital, including Code CVA, Code Blue, and Code Pink. Calls in OR teams, and manages staffing for the 2nd shift. Records and reports HPPD and nurse to patient ratio statistics. Also responds to and manages abnormal clinical needs occurring throughout the hospital.

Responsible for coordination and delegation of primary nursing functions in Telemetry Floor operations. Supervised and mentored nursing staff in patient care.

Responsible for coordinating daily care and performing continuous assessment of patients in post critical stages of illness. Floated to ICU, Med/Surg., and ED as needed. Administered team leading care module.
