In 2003 the commercial overlay board was created changing to the current Northern Colorado Commercial Association of Realtors (NCCAR), & Joan ascended to the position of Association Executive. In 2004, Joan changed roles again, accepting the position of Office Manager at the Fort Collins office. As Office Manager she coordinates and maintains standard procedures, manages the in-house marketing department, maintains real estate contracts, certificates of cont ed, accts rec & payable, payroll, commissions and all activities required for the office management including HR (hiring, training, reviews, discipline & dismissal.) She deals with vendors. vendor contracts, annual insurance (business and health) policies, and researches and makes suggestions regarding major purchases and expenses. She is IT manager, monitoring and maintenance of the Exchange Server, troubleshooting issues for office and brokers, intranet page, phone systems, and other electronics. She works to keep the 3 Realtec offices in good communication. She maintains her brokerage license and is a resource for license regulations & requirements.Joan is a licensed broker in the State of Colorado.Joan coordinates the Fort Collins Commercial Brokers Lunch Networking group and is the back up assistant to the Association Executive for NCCAR.In late 2013 Joan went from full time to part-time and started working with her husband, LD Chase assisting him with his administrative needs at BSC (Broomfield Sign Company) who recently expanded their operations and was named one of the companies to watch in 2013.

She works to continue advancing the marketing aspects of CREW Northern Colorado by maintaining the current website, updated LinkedIn Crew page and directs monthly marketing meeting to address ideas to help the members find value in the marketing materials provided. Joan will begin working with the Sponsorship Committee to obtain sponsors, “in-kind” sponsorship agreements and lunch sponsors for 2010. Joan has attended the National CREW Conventions in 2007 (Denver), 2008 (Houston), 2009 (Boston), 2010 (San Fransisco) and 2011 (Washington DC). As a member of CREW Northern Colorado Joan hopes to see continued growth and success for the organization that was founded in 2006 and currently has less than 30 members.Following the position of President in 2011 Joan now sits on the board of directors in the treasurer capacity.
