Our clients include private landowners, land trusts, landowners' associations, municipalities, and state and federal agencies.I conduct site visits with potential clients and collect and analyze site-specific information to incorporate into management plans. I hold a Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator's license, and completed the requirements for the INvasive Plant Certification Program at UMass/Amherst.I prepare and file permit applications for projects that fall under the jurisdiction of the Mass. Wetlands Protection Act.I also work on the preparation of Baseline Documentation Reports for land under conservation restriction.I speak to interested groups on various aspects of invasive plant identification and control. I've made presentations to the Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions, Pepperell Invasive Plant Advisory Group, Nashua River Watershed Association, Laurel Park Residents' Association, Sons and Daughters of Hawley, Townsend Conservation COmmission, Mt. Worked closely with Invasive Plant Coordinator Cynthia Boettner to research and manage invasive plant resource materials. Organixed and supported a regional-side invasive plant conference. Conducted a natural resource inventory of the former Mt. Tom (Holyoke, MA) ski area to document range and density of invasive plants that were colonizing the abandoned ski slopes.

Researched status of farmland protection provisions in the US. Researched and wrote articles for AFT publication.
