I am currently a Year 3 student at Republic Polytechnic pursing a Diploma in Health Service Management. I was inspired to join the healthcare sector because I saw the impact healthcare professionals had when my family members were hospitalized. Through my schooling years, I have learnt to be independent and resilient through part-time work as an E-commerce assistant, volunteer at church, and packing roles in warehouses.One of the most memorable experience I have had while volunteering with the church was going to Batam, Indonesia to serve the orphans. With a team of volunteers, we had planned activities and brought food to them. Despite the language barrier, being able to put smiles on their faces touched me.Having to work with different types of individuals, I have found a deep passion to connect with others no matter the backgrounds. I believe that being understanding and compassionate is what makes the world go round. As I seek future endeavors in the healthcare sector, I aim to spread this to the people around me.
