• Manage the Inbound Scheduling team under the Replenishment Optimization workstream. • Inbound Scheduling manages the receiving schedules of all goods into Loblaw Company distribution centers (DCs); serving as a critical link between transportation, distribution centers, replenishment, and other operational teams, providing early warning of issues with inbound flow which may impact bottom line service to our stores.• Responsible for managing up to 20 direct reports on the Inbound Scheduling team including organizing vacations, workloads, conducting quarterly performance audits, as well as completing yearly performance reviews. • Responsible for reporting daily to senior leadership on current statuses of DC; both physical building and schedule capacity nationally. • Critical thinking to come up with new ways to solve capacity/prioritization problems within the inbound scheduling team, as the same ideas do not always work each day or even for every distribution center.• Coordinate all holiday scheduling and planning at DC level, aligning DC closures with inbound volumes to best serve stores and customers.• Business lead on the design and implementation of an automatic data feed from Legacy and SAP systems into C3 Solutions, web based scheduling platform• Lead the Inbound Scheduling department through the implementation of SAP/C3/LCT• Responsible for collecting and maintaining national reports on performance data and reporting on trends and potential opportunities to senior leadership.

• Duties include; Tracking and scheduling of inbound loads to multiple DC’s nationally • Communicating with Carriers and Vendors concerning appointment times, tracking FOB loads which do not arrive into the DC’s on time, finalizing receiving schedules for DC’s across Canada at the end of each weekday, and preparing future schedules aligning to each DC’s specific work flow requirements. • Daily review of available POs and rework inbound plans to ensure minimum impact on service to stores based on a variety of factors including; promotional activity, forecasted shorts, transportation costs • Training of new individuals who join the team.• Involved in many a special task forces aimed at improving service to the business and developing new SOPs.
