The Facilities Division is responsible for the daily operations, preventive maintenance, remodeling and long term maintenance programs of the 31 major facilities owned by the City and spaces leased by the City. Total square footage of these facilities is about 1 million square feet. As the Facility Supervisor I support the Facilities Department by overseeing and administering the operations, maintenance, safety, comfort and cleanliness of the City buildings.

Effectively managed Administrative Services staff including recruiting, hiring, orientation, training and performance management process consistent with Pax Christi’s human resource policies and procedures.Supervised and provided oversight for Office Services, Building Services, Nursery Activity, Computer NetworkComprehensive selection overview, and management of major building contracts including HVAC, Fire Suppression, Security, Pest Control, Lawn Care and Snow Removal, Roofing, Electrical and Plumbing.Successfully completed a $450,000 roofing project from start to finish.Successfully managed multiple overlapping projects including Indoor Air Quality – fungal remediation, telephone system upgrade, labyrinth and paver project, land erosion repair, natural resource management plan, parking lot overlay, completion of a 45,000 square foot building expansion, Pioneer Trail expansion/improvement.Led the development and implementation of Administrative Services functional objectives, strategies and action plans.Used strong customer service skills to build solid vendor relationships.Developed and maintained an annual operating budget.Implemented the Emergency Response Plan in a collaborative effort with the City of Eden Prairie Police and Fire departments.
