Took lead role in business development and resource allocation decision-making, overseeing a $6M annual budget. Developed cross-functional, enterprise-wide, services and operations that were cost-effective and time-efficient and integrated into a centralized system resulting in expanded administrative coverage by 50%, reduced reliance on external consultants by 30%.

Designed and developed Ruth Starr Rose – Easton, a non-profit art exhibition including complimentary seminars, cultural events, and fundraising efforts. Organized and trained 60 community volunteers. Hosted 5K visitors and 35 school groups over seven weeks. Enlisted a wide-variety of community partners including the Reginald Lewis Museum in Baltimore, Talbot County, (Maryland) Public Schools, Talbot Tourism, Talbot County Historical Society, Talbot County Chapter- NAACP, Talbot County Public Schools, Avalon Foundation, Frederick Douglas Honor Society, the Starr Center at Washington College, and descendants of people depicted in the artist’s work.

Rebranded the organization and restored its reputation as an asset to the community, while modernizing its practices and ultimately improving the bottom line. Increased membership by 20% within first 6 months. Downsized campus, significantly reducing annual operating expenses. Re-purposed savings to provide funding for new initiatives, including new museum space. Worked with consultants, designers and contractors to relocate museum and business offices.Relocated retail function and increase sales floor by 75%, hired professional shop manager and instituted policies and practices that increased sales and net profit by 80% within the first nine months of the move.
